Objective and Philosophy
The MBA program at the East Delta University will expose students to the rigorous curriculum of an American business school, and at the same time help develop a deep understanding of the complex Bangladeshi economic and political system. It is a program that combines the American drive for efficiency and the Bangladeshi obsession with fairness and equity. In addition, the program will provide the international perspective required of every successful manager in this age of increased global competition.

Program Structure
A total of 63 credit hours is required to obtain an MBA degree at EDU.
** Students who have completed undergrad from a BUSINESS (Hons.) background will need to complete 39 credits and 48-63 credits for students of NON-BUSINESS background.

**The tuition fee structure mentioned below is slightly different for the prospective students who are currently employed. Instead of a 20% waiver of the tuition fee, a 40% waiver will be granted.
Application Requirements
Before being formally admitted into the MBA program, a student must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Minimum CGPA 2.00 in an undergraduate degree.
The student must meet the admission requirements for the undergraduate programs of the School of Business Administration.
Proficiency may be demonstrated either by completing undergraduate courses in relevant areas or by taking a formal test offered by the School of Business Administration. The program director will evaluate each application and recommend the appropriate course of action. The School will offer prerequisite classes on a regular basis.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AIDS
BoT Grant [during admission]
Students of MBA who have scored a minimum CGPA of 3.75 or first class in their undergrad program are eligible to apply for this scholarship. In addition to the flat fee waiver, this scholarship is offered to deserving applicants.
Scholarship Value: 40,000/- (to be adjusted with the tuition fees)

Who can Apply?
Graduates from other universities with a minimum CGPA of 3.75
EDU Graduates with a minimum CGPA of 3.75
Graduates from National University with First Class
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
The scholarship will automatically be applied to the tuition fees of the student who has scored a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
To continue the scholarship student have to take 12 credits minimum every semester.

Scholarship Value: 40% waiver fee on Regular Credit Fees

Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
To continue the scholarship student must maintain a CGPA of 2.0 every semester. The scholarship will automatically be cancelled if CGPA goes below 2.0 in the semester of consideration & be reinstated if he/she managed to score 2.0 or above.
EDU alumni (flat fee waiver) [during admission]
Students who have completed their graduation from EDU may avail this scholarship.
Scholarship Value: 40% waiver fee on Regular Credit Fees

Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
To continue the scholarship student must maintain a CGPA of 2.0 every semester. The scholarship will automatically be cancelled if CGPA goes below 2.0 in the semester of consideration & be reinstated if he/she managed to score 2.0 or above.
Board of trustees-Chairman’s Outstanding Student Award
This scholarship scheme aims to reward those meritorious students who have obtained
a total GPA of 4 out of 4 in 3 consecutive semesters.
Applicable to: Existing students
Value: BDT4,000/-
Applicable Requirement of the Scholarship:
A Student must enrol 12 credits in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibilty is measured
Board of trustees-Chairman’s Merit Award
This scholarship scheme aims to reward those meritorious students who have obtained
a total GPA of 3.85 out of 4 in 3 consecutive semesters.
Applicable to: Existing students
Value: BDT3,000/-
Applicable Requirement of the Scholarship:
A Student must enrol 12 credits in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibility is measured
Fee Waivers for Family Members of EDU's full-time students/alumni
Sibling/ spouse of EDU's full-time students/alumni will receive 30% tuition fee waiver in all programs (not applicable for those who have already received other waivers or Financial Support higher than or equal to 30%).
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
Students must maintain CGPA 3.00 and above for continuation of tuition fee waiver.
Fee Waivers for Sibling/Spouse/Ward of EDU's full-time employee
Sibling/spouse/ward of EDU's full-time employee will receive 40% tuition fee waiver in all programs (not applicable for those who have already received other waivers or financial support higher than or equal to 40%).
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
Students must maintain a CGPA 3.00 and above for continuing of tuition fee waiver.
